The success of an FP project depends upon the formation of a consortium made up of quality partners. With our experience of what qualities make up a successful consortium, and our vast database of SMEs Europe wide, and further afield, we are ideally placed to develop the optimum consortium for any project proposal.
Extensive Personal Network
Our first action upon receiving a partner search request is to utilise our affiliations with RTOs and the network of contacts our personnel have established in our successful history with EC funded research. We will draw upon these contacts and close relationships to identify any appropriate partners to meet our customer’s requirement.
Database
The next stage in the process is the search through our own extensive database, which represents our company membership. This database provides a rich source of prospective partners that can be matched to relevant projects and proposals.
Brainstorm/technical expertise
The search request will then be the subject of a team ‘brainstorm’. This is done to establish a set of key words and search terms; this will assist in refining the search for the ideal partner. The technical expertise of our experienced proposal writers is vital at this stage, as they are able to pick out the most relevant points and instruct those searching accordingly.
Recruitment
The final stage of the process is in the recruitment of the most suitable partner. Firstly many of the contacts are already known to us, and so where others may be ‘cold calling’; we are instead offering further opportunities to existing customers, affiliates and members. We also have a knowledgeable team of staff who are able to explain concisely, largely from experience, exactly what the benefits are to the potential partners, and to clarify a good amount of the technical jargon to avoid any miscommunication. |
